  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/977 derogating from Regulations (EC) No 889/2008 and (EC) No 1235/2008 as regards controls on the production of organic products due to the COVID-19 pandemic (EUR 2020/977).\nThat Regulation provides for temporary derogations from certain provisions of Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control (EUR 2008/889) and Commission Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008 laying down detailed rules for implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 as regards the arrangements for imports of organic products from third countries (EUR 2008/1235) relating to official controls on organic products.\nRegulation 2 provides for the derogations in respect of Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 to be extended and revokes the derogations in respect of Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008 which apply until 1st February 2021.\nA full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private or voluntary sector is foreseen.",
