# The Organic Products (Amendment) Regulations 1994, Regulation 3: Amendment of the principal Regulations


Regulation 2(1) (interpretation) of the principal Regulations shall be amended as follows:—
(a) there shall be inserted at the appropriate place the following definition—
““the appropriate Minister” means—
(a) in relation to England, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food;
(b) in relation to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, the Secretary of State;”;
(b) in the definition of “inspection body”, for the words “Food from Britain” there shall be substituted the words “the appropriate Minister”;
(c) the definition of “the Minister” shall be deleted.
