# The Overhead Lines (Exemption) Regulations 1992, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 8th December 1992
Coming into force 1st January 1993
The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (as respects England and Wales) and the Secretary of State for Scotland (as respects Scotland), in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 37(2)(c), 60 and 64 of the Electricity Act 1989 and of all other enabling powers, hereby make the following Regulations:–
