  "long_title": "This Order in Council amends the list of government departments and other authorities specified in Schedule 2 to the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967 by adding the Government Actuary’s Department. The result of this amendment is that the Parliamentary Commissioner will be able, subject to the conditions set out in that Act, to investigate action taken by or on behalf of the Government Actuary’s Department in the exercise of its administrative functions. The Order specifies that investigations may only be carried out in respect of the giving of advice by the Government Actuary’s Department on or before 26 April 2001 relating to the exercise of certain functions which relate to the regulation of insurance companies (as defined by the Insurance Companies Act 1982).",
