# The Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2001, Regulation 1: Title, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the principal Regulations” means the Parliamentary Pensions (Consolidation and Amendment) Regulations 1993;
“the 1995 Act” means the Pensions Act 1995;
and other expressions shall have the same meaning as in the principal Regulations.
