# The Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2004, Regulation 1: Title, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 8th October 2004, but regulations 2(b) and (g) to (i), 3 to 5 and 8 to 11 shall have effect from 26th November 2003.
(2) In these Regulations, the “Principal Regulations” means the Parliamentary Pensions (Consolidation and Amendment) Regulations 1993.
