  "text": "For paragraph (2) of regulation D2 of the Principal Regulations, there shall be substituted—\n“In this regulation, “salary” means—\n(a) in relation to a participating office holder (other than the Chairman of a Select Committee), the annual amount payable to him as an office holder in respect of his tenure of that office; or\n(b) in relation to a participating office holder who is a Chairman of a Select Committee, the annual amount payable to him, pursuant to an effective resolution for the time being in force, which is in excess of a Member’s ordinary salary and is attributable to his service as a Chairman of a Select Committee.”.",
