# The Parochial Fees (Amendment) Order 2023, Introduction: Introductory text

In accordance with section 2(1) of the Ecclesiastical Fees Measure 1986, a draft of this Order has been laid before, and approved by, the General Synod.
The Archbishops’ Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 2 of that Measure, makes the following Order:
