# The Part-Time Sheriffs (Removal Tribunal) Regulations 2001, Regulation 3: Commencement of investigation


Prior to an investigation by the tribunal commencing, the Scottish Ministers shall give the sheriff written notice of the investigation and of their reasons for requesting the investigation.
