# The Patents Act 1977 (Electronic Communications) Order 2003, Article 3: Insertion of new definition


In section 130(1) of the Patents Act 1977 (interpretation) at the appropriate place there shall be inserted—
““electronic communication” has the same meaning as in the Electronic Communications Act 2000;”.
