# The Patents (Amendment) (No. 2) Rules 1999, Article 8: Citation, commencement and transitional


In rule 24 (new applications under section 15(4)), in paragraph (1)—
(a) the words “the latest of” are omitted;
(b) in subparagraph (a)—
(i) the reference in parentheses to “(a)” is omitted;
(ii) for the words “sixth month” substitute “third month”;
(c) subparagraphs (b) and (c) are omitted;
