# The Patents (Amendment) Rules 1990, Introduction: Introductory text


PATENTS
Made 18th July 1990
Laid before Parliament 23rd July 1990
Coming into force 13th August 1990
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 115(1) and 123(1) of the Patents Act 1977,after consultation with the Council on Tribunals pursuant to section 10(1) of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1971, hereby makes the following Rules:—
