These Rules may be cited as the Patents (Fees) Rules 1988 and shall come into force as respects rules 1(1), 2 and 4 on 9th June 1988 and as respects rules 1(2) and 3 on 23rd June 1988.

The Patents (Fees) Rules 1987f1 and the Patents (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1987f2 are hereby revoked.
