  "long_title": "These Rules revoke and replace the Patents (Fees) Rules 1988. The fees payable under the Patents Act 1977 on forms 6/77, 9/77, 10/77, 11/77, 12/77, 13/77, 14/77, 15/77, 16/77, 17/77, 19/77, 21/77, 26/77, 27/77, 29/77, 30/77, 31/77, 32/77, 33/77, 34/77, 35/77, 36/77,37/77, 38/77, 45/77, 47/77, 48/77, 50/77, 52/77, 53/77, 54/77, 55/77, 56/77 and 57/77 and under the Patents Act 1949 on forms 23, 33, 35, 36, 39, 43, 44, 45, 46, 53, 54, 55, 64, 65 and 68 are increased with effect from 3rd July 1989, except in the case of fees payable for the renewal of a patent in respect of any year beginning on or after 3rd July 1989, which are increased with effect from 16th June 1989. It is estimated that the total amount of fees collected per annum at the new levels will be 5 per cent greater than the amount collected per annum at the existing levels.",
