  "text": "Where application is made on or after 16th June 1989 but before 3rd July 1989 for renewal of a patent in respect of any year beginning on or after 3rd July 1989, the fee payable on such application shall be that which would be payable if the application were made on or after 3rd July 1989 and rules 1(2) and 3 above had come into force.",
