# The Patents Rules 2007, Paragraph 2: Periods of time


Where, in relation to any proceedings under the Act, a period of time prescribed by the 1995 Rules for the purposes of a particular provision of the Act has not expired before the date on which these Rules come into force, that period continues to apply.
