# Patronage (Appeals) Rules 1988, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 15th November 1988
Coming into force 1st January 1989
In exercise of the powers conferred on it by paragraph 11 of Schedule 1 to the Patronage (Benefices) Measure 1986 the Patronage (Appeals) Committee constituted in accordance with paragraph 10 of the said Schedule hereby makes the following Rules:
