# The Payment Services Regulations 2017, Regulation 143: Restriction on penalties


A person who is convicted of an offence under these Regulations is not liable to a penalty under regulation 111 or 127 (financial penalties) in respect of the same contravention of a requirement imposed by or under these Regulations.
