Explanatory note

This Order provides, in respect of the period from 1st April 2006 to 31st March 2009, for sums to be paid to the Churches Conservation Trust up to a total of £3,948,000 either out of the net proceeds of sale or exchange of redundant churches or of land occupied by them or net premiums for the grant of leases of such churches or land or by way of grant from the Church Commissioners.
