# The Pension Protection Fund (Entry Rules) Regulations 2005, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force as provided for in regulation 1(2)
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 120(3) and (4), 121(5), 122(3), (5) and (8), 123(5), 126(1)(b), (3) and (5), 129(1)(b), (3) and (8), 130(5) and (8), 133(3), 134(3)(a)(iii), 135(4), 138(10)(b) and (12), 139(6), 146(1) and (5), 147(1)(a) and (5), 148(8), 150(5) and (6)(a) to (c), 151(4), (6), (8) and (9)(b), 315(2), (4) and (5) and 318(1) and (4)(a) of the Pensions Act 2004 , and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, by this instrument, which contains regulations made before the end of the period of six months beginning with the coming into force of the provisions of the enactment by virtue of which they are made , hereby makes the following Regulations:
