  "text": "Without prejudice to section 16 of the Interpretation Act 1978—\n(a) as respects a transaction which took place before 1st January 1986, sections 19(1) and 81 have effect with the omission of paragraph (c), and\n(b) as respects a transaction which took place before 1st November 1986, section 19 has effect with the substitution for the references to guaranteed minimum pensions of references to requisite benefits.",
