Regulation 7 Amendment of the Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Levy) Regulations 1997

(1)

The Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Levy) Regulations 1997^f1 shall be amended in accordance with this regulation.

(2)

In regulation 1(2) (citation, commencement and interpretation)—

(a)

in the definition of “member”—

(i)

in sub-paragraph (a)(ii) delete “or”;

(ii)

at the end of sub-paragraph (a)(iii) insert

“or

(iv)

has pension credit rights under the scheme;”; and

(iii)

in sub-paragraph (b) after “scheme” where it last appears insert “, including a member who has pension credit rights under the scheme”; and

(b)

after the definition of “member” insert the following definition—

““pension credit rights” has the meaning given by section 101B of the 1993 Act;”.
