# The Pension Sharing (Excepted Schemes) Order 2001, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 2000/3088 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

Coming into force 5th March 2001
The President of the Council, having been designated by the Treasury as having responsibility for the public service pension schemes referred to in article 2, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(3) of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999, hereby makes the following Order:
