  "heading": "Citation, commencement and interpretation",
  "text": "(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Pension Sharing (Valuation) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st December 2000.\n(2) In these Regulations—\n“the 1993 Act\" means the Pension Schemes Act 1993 ;\n“the 1995 Act\" means the Pensions Act 1995 ;\n“the 1999 Act\" means the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999;\n“the 2004 Act” means the Pensions Act 2004;\n...\n“employer\" has the meaning given by section 181(1) of the 1993 Act;\n...\n“occupational pension scheme\" has the meaning given by section 1 of the 1993 Act;\n“pension arrangement\" has the meaning given by section 46(1) of the 1999 Act;\n“relevant arrangement\" has the meaning given by section 29(8) of the 1999 Act;\n...\n“scheme\" means an occupational pension scheme;\n...\n...\n“transfer credits\" has the meaning given by section 181(1) of the 1993 Act;\n“transfer day” has the meaning given by section 29(8) of the 1999 Act;\n“transferor\" has the meaning given by section 29(8) of the 1999 Act;\n“the Transfer Values Regulations” means the Occupational Pension Schemes (Transfer Values) Regulations 1996;\n“trustees or managers\" has the meaning given by section 46(1) of the 1999 Act;\n“valuation day\" has the meaning given by section 29(7) of the 1999 Act.",
