Article 2 Appointed day

The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Pensions Act 1995 is 2nd October 1995—

• section 90 (unpaid contributions in cases of insolvency);

• section 156 (employment of staff by the Pensions Ombudsman);

• section 169 (extensions of Pensions Appeal Tribunals Act 1943)^f1;

• section 172, and sections 174 and 175 in so far as they relate to that section, (information about public service schemes);

• paragraph 1 of Schedule 6, and section 173 in so far as it relates to that paragraph, (amendment to the Public Records Act 1958)^f2.
