# The Pensions Act 2008 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2011, Article 2: Commencement of provisions


The following provisions of the Pensions Act 2008 shall come into force on 6th April 2012—
(a) section 106 (contracting-out: abolition of all protected rights),
(b) section 148 (repeals), in so far as it relates to Part 3 of Schedule 11, and
(c) Part 3 of Schedule 11 (repeals having effect in accordance with section 106).
