  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order brings into force certain provisions of the Pensions Act 2011 (c.19) (“the Act”) on 1st and 3rd January 2012 and 6th April 2012.\nArticle 2 brings into force section 20 of the Act on 1st January 2012. Section 20 relates to annual increases in periodic compensation paid by the Pension Protection Fund.\nArticle 3 brings the following provisions of the Act into force on 3rd January 2012—\nsection 8, which relates to automatic enrolment into a workplace pension scheme,\nsections 19 and 21, which relate to annual increases to be made by certain occupational pension schemes,\nsection 22 and parts of Schedule 4, which relate to the Pension Protection Fund,\nsections 23 and 24, which relate to the financial assistance scheme,\nsection 26, which relates to contribution notices and financial support directions issued by the Pensions Regulator,\nsection 34 and Schedule 5, which relate to judicial pensions, and\nsection 35, which relates to grants made by the Secretary of State to advisory bodies.\nArticle 4 brings into force parts of section 2 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Act on 6th April 2012. These provisions relate to the abolition of certain additions to the state pension.\nA full impact assessment has not been produced for this Order as it has no impact on the private sector or civil society organisations.",
