# The Pensions Act 2014 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2016, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the power conferred by section 53 of the Pensions Act 2014, makes the following Order.
A draft of this Order was laid before Parliament in accordance with section 54(2)(c) of that Act and approved by a resolution of each House.
