  "text": "PENSIONS\nMade 21st September 1995\nComing into force 1st December 1995\nThe Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4 and 7 of the Pensions Commutation Act 1871, and with the consent of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Regulations:—",

      "text": "1871 c. 36. These provisions are subject to section 3 of the Pensions Commutation Act 1882 (c. 44), which provides for the commutation of a portion of a person’s pension. The power to make regulations is vested in the Secretary of State by virtue of section 2(1) of the Pensions Commutation Act 1984 (c. 7)."
