# The Pensions Commutation Regulations 1968, Regulation 9: Commutation fee


(1) There shall be charged in respect of the commutation of any pension or any portion of a pension a fee of 1 per cent. on the amount awarded;
provided that such fee shall not be less than £2.10 s.Od. nor more than £20 in any case.
(2) The amount of the fee shall be deducted from the amount awarded.
