# The Pensions Increase (Local Authorities' etc. Pensions) (Amendment) Regulations 1989, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Pensions Increase (Local Authorities etc. Pensions) Regulations 1974 so as to provide for the payment of increases under the Pensions Increase Act 1971 on Scottish Homes pensions and so as to secure that the cost of such increases is to be borne by that body. Scottish Homes is a body established under section 1 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 (c. 43).
