In these Regulations—

  • “the 1971 Act” means the Pensions (Increase) Act 1971;

  • “the 1975 Act” means the Social Security Pensions Act 1975f1.

1975 c.60. By virtue of section 59(7), as amended by the Social Security Act 1979 (c.18), Schedule 3, paragraph 20, section 59 and section 59A of the 1975 Act and the 1971 Act have effect as if section 59 and section 59A were contained in Part I of the 1971 Act.
