  "text": "These Regulations apply the provisions of the Pensions (Increase) Act 1971 to a pension payable to a Parliamentary Commissioner who exercises the right of election, given by Schedule 1 of the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967, for the statutory scheme for pensions and other benefits applicable to the judicial offices listed in Schedule 1 of the Judicial Pensions Act 1959. The Regulations contain no provision for retrospective effect since no former Parliamentary Commissioner elected for that scheme before his retirement.",
