PENSIONS

Made 10th February 1988

Laid before Parliament 24th February 1988

Coming into force 11th April 1988

Whereas by virtue of section 23(2)^f1 of the Social Security Pensions Act 1975^f2 a direction has been given^f3 under section 63(2) and section 83(3) of the Social Security Act 1986^f4 by the Secretary of State for Social Services that the sums mentioned in section 63(1)(b) of the Social Security Act 1986 are to be increased;

Now therefore the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(1), (2) and (5) of the Social Security Pensions Act 1975^f5 and now vested in them^f6, and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
