# The Pensions Increase (Speakers' Pensions) Regulations 1972, Regulation 6


In relation to a pension payable under section 26 or 27 of the Parliamentary and other Pensions Act 1972 to or in respect of a person who has held office as Speaker of the House of Commons the 1971 Act shall have effect as if the pension were excepted from the provisions of the Act.
