# The Persistent Organic Pollutants (Amendment) Regulations 2023, Regulation 2: Amendment of Regulation (EU) 2019/1021


(1) Part A of Annex 1 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 of the European Parliament and of the Council on persistent organic pollutants (recast) (Substances listed in the Convention and in the Protocol as well as substances listed only in the Convention) is amended as follows.
(2) In the entry for perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), its salts and PFOA-related compounds, in the 4th column, in point 5(c), for “4 July 2023” substitute “3 December 2025”.
