# The Personal Independence Payment (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 18th March 2013
Coming into force 8th April 2013
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(1) and (2)(a) of the Welfare Reform Act 2012.
These Regulations are made before the end of the period of 6 months beginning with the coming into force of Part 4 of the Welfare Reform Act 2012.
