# The Personal Injuries (Civilians) Amendment Scheme 1990, Section 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Scheme may be cited as the Personal Injuries (Civilians) Amendment Scheme 1990 and shall come into force for the purposes of this article and article 2 on 1st April 1990 and for all other purposes on 9th April 1990.
(2) In this Scheme the expression “the principal Scheme” means the Personal Injuries (Civilians) Scheme 1983.
