# The Personal Injuries (Civilians) Scheme 1983, Article 29: Allowance to elderly widows


Where a widow who is in receipt of a pension awarded under Article 27 has attained the age of 65 years or the age of 70 years, as the case may be, she may be awarded an allowance at whichever of the rates specified in Schedule 4, paragraph 3, is appropriate.
