# The Personal Protective Equipment (EC Directive) (Amendment) Regulations 1996, Schedule: AMENDMENTS TO THE DIRECTIVE


In Annex IV to Directive 89/686/EEC the following words shall be omitted:
“Additional information
The last two digits of the year in which the CE marking was affixed; this information is not required in the case of the PPE referred to in Article 8(3).”.
