  "text": "(1) This Act may be cited as the Pet Animals Act 1951 (Amendment) Act 1982.\n(2) This Act shall come into operation at the end of a period of six months beginning with the day on which it is passed.\n(3) This Act does not apply to Northern Ireland.",
