# The Petroleum (Current Model Clauses) Order 1999, Paragraph 4: Term of licence

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

This licence unless sooner determined under any of the provisions hereof shall be and continue in force for the term of three years from … 19…, but may, if the Minister sees fit and the Licensee has at least three months before the expiry of the said term made a written request for its extension, be continued for a further period of three years.
