# The Petroleum (Production) (Seaward Areas) (Amendment) Regulations 1990, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the provisions of the Petroleum (Production) (Seaward Areas) Regulations 1988 relating to the fee payable by an applicant for a production licence under the Petroleum (Production) Act 1934 in respect of an area offshore. In the case both of an invited and a non-invited application, the fee is increased to £3,700.
