# The Petty Sessional Divisions (Avon) Order 1990, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order gives effect to a draft order submitted by the magistrates' courts committee for the county of Avon and provides for the petty sessional divisions of Avon North and Thornbury to be combined to form a new petty sessional division of North Avon, and for the petty sessional divisions of Bath and Wansdyke to be combined to form a new petty sessional division of Bath and Wansdyke.
