  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations further amend the Pharmaceutical Services Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 (“the Pharmaceutical Regulations”). The changes arise out of new arrangements for the independent prescribing of drugs and appliances by chiropodists or podiatrists and physiotherapists.\nRegulation 2 amends the Pharmaceutical Regulations by inserting a new definition of “chiropodist or podiatrist independent prescriber”, inserting a new definition of “physiotherapist independent prescriber” and substituting a new definition of “prescriber”.",
