# The Pitcairn Constitution Order 2010, Paragraph 22: Protection from arbitrary deprivation of right of abode and of British citizenship


(1) No person with the right of abode in Pitcairn under any law shall be arbitrarily deprived of that right, whether by legislation or otherwise.
(2) As everyone has the right to a nationality, no person shall be arbitrarily deprived of his or her British citizenship, whether by legislation or otherwise.
