  "text": "(1) There shall be an Island Council for Pitcairn, which shall be composed, and shall have such functions in relation to the government of Pitcairn, as may be prescribed by any law.\n(2) The members of the Island Council shall be elected to office in free and fair elections held at regular intervals in such manner as may be prescribed by any law.",
