  "heading": "Sustainable development",
  "text": "(1) This section applies to the Secretary of State's functions under sections 5 and 6.\n(2) The Secretary of State must, in exercising those functions, do so with the objective of contributing to the achievement of sustainable development.\n(3) For the purposes of subsection (2) the Secretary of State must (in particular) have regard to the desirability of—\n(a) mitigating, and adapting to, climate change;\n(b) achieving good design.",
