  "heading": "Provisions coming into force",
  "text": "To the extent to which they have not already been commenced, the following provisions of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 shall come into force on 31 October 2004:\n(a) Part 8;\n(b) section 111(2);\n(c) in Schedule 6, paragraph 7;\n(d) in Schedule 7, paragraphs 4, 5, 7, 9, 10(1) to (6), 11(4) and (5), 12 to 15, 18, and 21; and\n(e) in Schedule 9, the repeals relating to—\n(i) the Land Compensation Act 1973;\n(ii) the Welsh Development Agency Act 1975;\n(iii) the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980;\n(iv) the Highways Act 1980;\n(v) the Housing Act 1988;\n(vi) in the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, sections 226 and 245;\n(vii) in the Planning and Compensation Act 1991, Schedule 18;\n(viii) the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993; and\n(ix) the Regional Development Agencies Act 1998.",
