# The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (Commencement No.1) Order 2004, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force certain provisions of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
Article 2 of this Order brings into force on 6th August 2004 a number of provisions of the 2004 Act for the limited purposes of enabling the Secretary of State, the Lord Chancellor, the National Assembly for Wales or the Scottish Ministers to make, or to make provision by means of, subordinate legislation.
